God's Prophetic Hotline Dreams
God's Prophetic Hotline

God still speaks to men and woman today in various ways by conscience, by providence's, by ministers as the word is preached and, another way is through dreams. Job 33:15 is a very exciting scripture
Job 33:15 "In a dream, a vision of the night, When sound sleep falls on men, While they slumber in their beds, Job 33:16 Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction, God opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction (Strongs concordance 241) The word ear in Ps. 40:6, is the Hebrew word ozen which means" broadness" Ozen comes from the root word azan ( Strongs 238) Azan means to expand, to broaden out the ear , to listen and perceive by ear". The word opened is the Hebrew word Karah. Karah means to dig , to bore are to open". God desires a heart that will allow Him to dig the spiritual wax out of our ears that we no longer be deaf and hearing tunnel sounds but that there will be sharp and clear sound we hear.

God instructs us while we are sleeping , while we are in a state of rest our bodily senses are locked up and the mind is free to receive immediate communications of Divine information. During the day we are encumbered with the business of our daily task, When information does come to our mind we start putting it in categories of experience we have already had and when this is heavenly information we usually do not have a category so we dismiss it.
That was why the angel of the Lord had to appear to Joseph in a dream . At that time his natural mind could not comprehend being the father of a child he did not conceive so he pondered the matter. Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privately. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. The angel of the Lord was giving Joseph information . We do not read that Mary gave the information of the honor that was being bestowed upon her.

The Lord can speak to us, give direction, promotion warnings and prepare us in many ways for our daily task. If we heed the information He gives us. Like Joseph we may prosper. Joseph as a lad had a dream about his brothers' sheaves bowing down before his sheaf. He excitedly told his brothers and they were angry. The dream was told ahead of time and we must remember everyone will not be excited about our dreams. Telling the dream set a course for Joseph's life his brothers sold him into slavery, then he worked for Potiphar and when he didn't succumb to Popithar's wife's advances then he was thrown in an Egyptian prison. There he was consulted by the butler and baker about their dreams He answered "doesn't the interpretation belong to God." Joseph asked, then correctly foretold the future of the baker and the butler.
When Pharaoh was troubled by a dream the butler remembered the interpreter in prison. This time Joseph's wise interpretation, explaining the fat and lean cows and the full and thin ears of grain, was rewarded directly and he was promoted into a position of authority over Egypt.
When we pay attention to our dreams it may bring us promotion, prosperity, protections are it may be a wake up call (warning).
This is a story about John Newton taken from the book (Gods, Dreams) Early in John Newton's autobiography he told a story of a dream that would warn him of the danger of his ways, This is his account the scene presented to my imagination was the harbor of Venice, where we had lately been . I thought it was night, and my watch upon the deck. That as I was walking to and from by myself, a person came to me. I do not remember from whence and brought me a ring with an express charge to keep it carefully assuring me, that while I preserved that ring I should be happy and successful But if I lost are parted with it, I must expect nothing but trouble and misery . I excepted the present and the terms willingly, not in the least doubting my own care to preserve it, and highly satisfied to have my happiness in my own keeping.
