Rev. Barbara Jimenez's ministry, Gateway Ministries International, is the fruit of a vision given to her over 10 years ago, however, she has been serving the Lord for over 20 years. She is a very gifted and anointed prophet, visionary and teacher. She has moved in many other functions within the Body of Christ over those years.

In her role as an Evangelist, she has touched the lives of thousands and has helped to advance the Kingdom of God, both nationally and abroad. She has used her gifts when she traveled going to the nations such as Mexico, the Philippines, Korea, Canada, and South Africa and across the country here in the United States, imparting ministries, mantles and the Argentina Fire she received while in South Africa. She has a prophetic anointing upon her by God for establishing, strengthening and releasing the ministries God has given to others in the Body of Christ, bringing them into maturity to serve the Kingdom of God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, she has many credits to her name. She developed the "Banner & Tabernacle Presentation," where she organized a team of gifted men and women to re-create each piece of furniture, which was in the tabernacle. This presentation was presented and taught throughout Louisiana and Mississippi in a beautiful pageantry with full costume of Priestly garments.

She was a "forerunner" in the Deliverance Ministry at the Lion of Judah Church in Harvey, Louisiana, along with Pastor Leo DeJesus. Her gifts were used greatly in the areas of healing and deliverance as she set people free from the bondages the enemy had placed in their lives.

She organized the Southern region's "Christian Arts Revival" with banners and dance, which brought forth many gifting and anointings from many different churches.

 

 

God spoke to her through dreams and visions showing her that there were several books she is called to author. The theme of the books are entitled, "Growing in the Supernatural" and is a mini-series of small books all on the Prophetic. She has now completed the first entitled, "Dreams and Visions." She is currently working on the second that will be a teaching on visions.

The Lord has moved mightily within her in the area of Spiritual Warfare. She has been called by God to "pull down the strongholds within His church." She is often seen "warring" with her hands as God instructs her. Ps 18:34

She has been sent out ahead of others by God to "prepare the way" for God's plans to be fulfilled in a particular country or land, by special tasks He would instruct her to perform. She later found out that the tasks had a great impact in the Spiritual realm.

She participated in the "Celebration of Lights" where over 20 churches came together in Jackson Square, in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana in an all day celebration. It was a time of bringing Jesus outside the four walls of the church. The celebrations included music, prayer and praise, parade of dancers, feeding the homeless, and many activities for the children of all ages. That was the year that Mardi Gras festivities did not roll out on the streets of New Orleans.

She operates strongly in the prophetic gift God has anointed her with and all that meet her have been blessed.

"And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days." Joel 2:28-29
